Noah has arrived! He was 7lbs. 8 oz. and 20 inches long. He was born on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 3:08 p.m. Thank you to everyone who supported and prayed for us throughout this pregnancy, we have a healthy little boy! I will try and attach pictures but it probably won't work because my computer at home is so slow! If you want pics email me and let me know and I will try and send them.

Tomorrow is the BIG day! The doctor is inducing me at 6 am. Please pray that we have a healthy baby and a routine delivery. Chad and I are very anxious, along with the rest of my family!
I have attached pictures of Cameryn and Addy. One is of Christmas with my dad and the other is at the movies (We took the girls to see Happy Feet) They are so funny together! Have a good one!

Well I am now officially HUGE! I am ready and I believe he is too. He hasn't been moving much in the last few days because he is out of room in there! I go back to the doctor today so hopefully we will get some good news. I went last Friday and they told me my cervix was thinning out (too much info for some of you I am sure!)I am hoping for a baby before Christmas but if he is anything like Cameryn was we might see him around Martin Luther King Day! She did not want to come out. Well I hope to attach a picture of Noah, of course still inside!

Chad and I celebrated our five year anniversary this past week. Wow! I cannot belive how fast it goes by. We are so lucky to have one another and the family support that we both have. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us along the way, of course God has been our biggest supporter. We celebrated by going to the MU/KU football game on Saturday, we had a blast. Chad was in heaven even though our seats were in the nose bleeds! Have a great week! Oh my I almost forgot to tell you about Chad's latest purchase, he finally bought a Rhino. He was actually very patient this time and did his reseach. Cameryn loves it, our whole family can fit in it. There are two seats in the front and four in the back, this way we all go on the dirtbiking/fourwheeling trips.

Well this week has been full of exciting and busy things. I had two baby showers which was so generous! I got a ton of stuff and loved going through it all! It was so much fun to see all the little boy stuff.
Noah is preparing for arrival, I am getting bigger everyday and starting to have occasional contractions. I cannot wait to see what he looks like. Cameryn tells everyone that baby Noah is coming when it snows, I hope we don't get snow until at least December!
Here are some pictures of the baby showers. One was at Best Western, Cameryn and Addy got to help open presents. They loved it! The other shower was at work, Marci made the cutest cake. Thank you to everyone who planned and helped with the showers. You're the best!

Halloween night with the Bride and the Unicorn. They had fun!

Monday, October 30, 2006

Cameryn other wise known as Ariel (Little Mermaid) went to Crosby's birthday party yesterday. They had so much fun! They got to break a pinata and go on a hayride. Cameryn has gotten our moneys worth out of the costume, she wears it every where! Happy Halloween!!

I never realized how much becoming a mom makes you appreciate your own mom! My mom has been out of towm for 5 days and you would think I lost my right leg. Not only is she out of town but out of the country. It is funny how the roles start to reverse in life, I have worried about her the whole time she has been gone. Next thing I know I'll be changing her diapers (just kidding mom) Anyway I can't wait for her safe return tomorrow.
Here is a picture of Cameryn and her friend Grayson at Longhorn Steakhouse Saturday night, it was my friend Sarah's birthday. Happy Birthday Sarah!

I love being a Mom! I got to experience my first field trip as a PARENT. I have always been on the other end, either as a student or as a teacher. Cameryn and Addy went to the pumpkin patch with their preschool on Tuesday, they had so much fun and so did I! Here are some pictures of our adventures...Addy even got picked to go up in front of everyone, she was so cute!

Cameryn and Addy were in the Cannonball Parade this weekend. They were part of their preschool float. This is a picture of them with Aunt "Tellie".
The second picture is of Cameryn making cupcakes for her dad and the last one is of Thumper asleep in the car. Have a great week!

So I told you in the last post that Cameryn drags her new dog around EVERYWHERE with her. I just want to attach some pictures proving the point!!

Life gets busier everyday but we are so lucky to wake up every morning with all the blessings we have in our lives. Cameryn is doing great in school and she had her first homework assignment this week! Chad and I went wacko and bought Cameryn a puppy last week. She has been wanting one for a LONG time and I kept putting it off. I looked early in the summer and couldn't find one I liked. Of course my priority was a non shedding, small pooping dog (hence my neuroticness) Finally we found one here in Kearney and he is so cute! He is yorkie/bishon mix and weighs about 5 pounds, he won't get much bigger. Cameryn drags him around EVERYWHERE and he doesn't seem to mind, YET. He is so little we can take him anywhere, Mom calls me Paris Hilton because he goes everywhere with us! His name is Thumper but Cameryn refers to hims as Fumper, it is so cute! Thumper is getting me in gear for having another baby by getting me up at 5:00 a.m. to go outside. The picture here is not of her puppy but of her Uncle Todd's puppy. I will try to get a picture of her and her puppy and post it next week. Take Care!

I am going to try and attach more than one picture to this entry, probably won't work but I will give it a shot. The first pics are of us finding out we were having a boy. The second ones are of Cam's first day of school. Hope you enjoy!

Well this week as been one emotional rollercoaster for me. I am trying to blame it on the pregnancy hormones but I don't know how much longer I can get by with that. So you ask why are you emotional...Cameryn started PRESCHOOL!! Now I know this doesn't seem like a big deal to many but it was very hard for me to let go. She on the other hand is having a great time and loves it. She told me on the first day, "Okay Mom you can leave me here by myself, I promise I won't cry." I regretfully could not make that same promise to her. As the week is now over I am doing much better. She has already grown up after only being there for 3 days! I told her teacher that she might be driving by the end of year. Please pray for me and my over emotional state. I love being pregnant and can't believe how fast it is going by. I am scared to death though about being a mom to two little kids!! My sleep will be over once again, not a good thing for Chad! I am slightly grouchy without 10 hours a night. I was hoping to have a picture for you of Cam's first day of school but I have not got them developed yet. I will try to put something else fun on. Stay tuned for more...

My mom bought two wigs for Cameryn this summer and she loves them! When she puts them on she grabs whatever she can find to use as a cane and walks around saying her name is "Marfa" (Martha, all her "th's" are "f's" ) Thought I would share!

For those of you who haven't heard we are having a BOY!! We are thrilled because we both were sure that it was a girl. Don't get us wrong, we are blessed no matter what it is but we are happy to have one of both so we can be done if we want to. God is good!

I have included a picture of one of our summer adventures (so sad it is over) This was Cameryn's first time tubing, she even did it once without her dad. She loved the lake and also loves to be in the camper. I am so blessed to have the job I have, this summer was so wonderful. It is going to be really hard to go back to work although I know she is in great hands. She is such a blessing and we thank God every day for every moment we get to spend with her.

Well the school year is wrapping up, Hooray! We get out of school tomorrow and everyone is very excited. I am very excited to get to hang out with Cameryn all summer long. You probably won't see many updates because we don't have a computer at home. I will try to do some from Chad's computer at his office. I hope everyone has a great summer and a safe one. Here is a picture of Cameryn and Addy at the Omaha Zoo, they had a blast!

Well the sad news from our house today is that Cameryn lost one of her fish.(She has only had them for 46 hours) We went to a wedding Saturday night and they had goldfish in bowls as the center pieces. The bride thought it was a good idea to tell us in front of Cameryn that she could take a fish home. We thought she would forget about it but no can do! Cameryn not only remembered but we got TWO fish to take home, thanks to some friends of ours! She held the fish all the way home(in a plastic bag) she talked, kissed, and soothed the bag the whole way..hopefully the big sister thing will go the same way.
Much to our dismay we lost one of the Freds this morning (did I tell you they were both named Fred) Cameryn got to pet the fish one last time, yes I said PET the fish...I wonder why it died!
This morning when I dropped her off at Aunt Tellie's she was telling Addy the whole story. "Addy my fishy died, he went to fish heaven and my daddy flushed him down the toliet." Chad handled the funeral this morning.
This is probably way more information then you want but it is just one of those things that happen that you don't want to forget. Cameryn is at such fun age and she makes us laugh non stop. We are so lucky to have such a happy daughter.

They look really sweet here but what you don't realize is one of them just tried to drown the other! They love each other very much but they fight like sisters! They are so lucky to have each other and live close to one another.

PRECIOUS CARGO!
Luckily Aunt Stacie and Kellie live next door to Uncle Todd. Whenever we visit Uncle Todd's house Addy usually comes over to play for awhile. They all love to ride in Clayton's wagon. They're getting to be a pretty heavy load!

Friday, April 28, 2006

Cameryn got to go mushroom hunting for the first time this year. She loved riding and walking through the woods looking for the "hiding" mushrooms. On this particular day we only found three lonely mushrooms but it was enough to keep her happy (but not enough for Daddy and Uncle Todd!) Chad and I had so much fun watching her get excited over finding them, we hope to instill the love of mushroom hunting in her for life. That way when we're old and gray she can still hunt and we can sit back and enjoy eating them!

For those of you who haven't heard yet, I am pregnant! What a fun and exciting time for our family. We cannot wait to bring another child into this world. Although the world around us spins so fast our family grows stronger and stronger everyday. The Lord has blessed us so much this year that I almost feel guilty. We will try our hardest to raise our children to be close to the Lord so they can have fulfilling lives also. I have included a picture or Cameryn and her dad on the big John Deere. God Bless!

Monday, March 27, 2006

One her favorite gifts was her DRUM set from Grandpa Dan and Grandma Janice. YES I said Drums!!! I am not sure who loves them more, her or her dad! Chad thinks he is Tommy Lee when he plays!

Cameryn just turned three, here is her picture with us. The time has flown by, she is such a blessing.

Okay so I have been inspired by my cousins Tracy and Franklin to create a blog of my own. All my students do it too, I guess it is the hip thing to do so here I am. I think it is a great idea when you have family that lives out of town. They can check up on you and see how life is going even though they can't physically touch you every day. I hope to keep this updated with pictures of the family.
So my first entry...Today has been crazy! As you know I teach 5th grade and the kids had their "job interviews" for exchange city. It is really fun wtaching them get all dressed up and being so nervous for their big interview. They were all so cute!
Hopefully I can figure out how to put pictures of here so you can see Cameryn. She is so much fun and cracks us up ALL the time. She told me this morning in the car, "Check it out girl" I think she got it from watching Shark Tale. You just never know what will come out of a three year old's mouth. She is such a blessing and makes our lives here on earth complete!
