It finally arrived!

Cameryn with all 24 flavors
Chad and Noah with the new machine
We decided to only make four flavors last night and we put a pretty big dent in them!
Matthew with his shaved ice

I wish I would have remembered to take pictures when we were making them. We had some people over and tried the machine out and some of the flavors. All my flavors came in concentrate form so you have to mix them up with a certain recipe so the stay preserved.
We had a lot of fun trying them all out and mixing them up. Needless to say the excitement in our house was crazy. It doesn't take much these days to get us exicted!

Shaved Ice Ideas?!!

My cousin gave me a great idea this afternoon. As you can tell from my recent posts I am opening a Shaved Ice stand this summer. I have wanted to do this for several years and finally got the guts to do it. I always figured it would be a good summer job for me. I bought the trailer and all my supplies. Now I am trying to come up with IDEAS. I will have 24 flavors and a list of specialties.
Now back to my cousins idea, she suggested to have a blue one with a gummy fish on top and call it the "fishbowl" So far I have come up with a few of my own...

The Bulldog--Grape & Banana
The Mizzou-- Black Cherry & Banana
The Shrek---Rootbeer & Green Apple
The Firecracker-- Cherry and Blue Raspberry
Monkey Madness- Rootbeer & Banana
Princess Ice- Bubble Gum & Strawberry
The Superman- Blue Raspberry, Banana, and Cherry
Sugar Shakeup- Cotton Candy & Bubble Gum
Christmas in July- Green Apple & Cherry
The Volcano-Black Cherry on the outside and orange in the middle (get it, the lava!)
Strawberry Shortcake- Cake Batter and Strawberry

So here's where you come in, I need help coming up with a few more. Put your creative minds to use for the Shaved Ice business. Either post them as a comment on my blog or email them to me. Thanks for all your help and feel free to stop by this summer and see me!!

My new Shaved Ice Stand, I still have a lot of work to do. It will look very different when we are done with it.
The kids playing in the mud puddles down by the barn.
I made Cameryn take off her jeans because they were getting too muddy, that is why she is in her underwear. Good thing we live in the country!

My red bud tree (I must be getting old to be taking pictures of such things!)

Easter- "New Again"

They showed this in church last week but I missed it because Noah was sick. Chad went with Cameryn and he said it was awesome. I found it on youtube and felt I needed to share. If you haven't seen it please take the time to watch the whole video. It is very touching and helps me to remember why we celebrate Easter.

The Princess Party

We were gone on the cruise on Cam's birthday so we just got to celebrate it with her friends. Stacie and I took them to see Princesses on Ice at the Sprint Center. Then they came back and had a "Royal Slumber Party" It is so fun to watch them interact with one another. They had a blast and Stacie and I were completing wiped out when it was over!

Cameryn's Birthday Gifts

Aunt Stacy thought it would be really funny to get Cameryn birds for her birthday.
Here she is with "Sparky" and "Lilly"
Aunt Stacy, Cam, and Matthew with the birds.
Mom also thought she would be clever and bought Cam two fish. Now she has two fish(Marty and Smarty) and two birds. Here she is with her animals in her bedroom, she could not be any happier. At this very moment she is in her room talking with Sparky.

The video below is us trying to get the birds from the pet store box to the cage...
