"Lena" Jr.

The Styrofoam peanuts that came in a package yesterday. Noah took it upon himself to cover the floor with them and then squash them with his tractor.

For those who don't know what "Lena" means I will tell...
When Chad was little his sister used to dress him in her ballet clothes, so he earned the name "Lena Ballerina" . There are still people in his family that call him that, he LOVES it! Anyway Kellie babysat Noah last night and when we went to pick him this is what he had on.

A day in Noah's life...

Needless to say, Noah is hard to keep up with. The minute we turn our backs he is in to something. I can't even count all the things he has eaten that you are not "suppose" to eat! We had told him "no" several times about the paint but the temptation was just too great! He makes our lives more exciting that's for sure, and our bathtub is getting a good workout!

Chad hit the motherload on Wednesday. The kids and him went mushroom hunting and found plenty for us all to eat. This is what we had leftover after we fried up the others. You couldn't wipe the smile off Chad's face, he loves nothing more than mushrooms in the spring and sweet corn in the summer!
Yesterday I could not find Noah (very normal around here anymore) he is always in to something! I finally went down to the garage and this is where I found him. He was sitting there going "VROOOOOOOM, VROOOOOOOOOM!!"

I had to call in reinforcements last night and this is who showed up. Just teasing, I actually begged these three to come over and help me. We ended up getting the whole thing done and even had time for some shaved ice afterwards.

We decided to only make four flavors last night and we put a pretty big dent in them!

I wish I would have remembered to take pictures when we were making them. We had some people over and tried the machine out and some of the flavors. All my flavors came in concentrate form so you have to mix them up with a certain recipe so the stay preserved.
We had a lot of fun trying them all out and mixing them up. Needless to say the excitement in our house was crazy. It doesn't take much these days to get us exicted!

Shaved Ice Ideas?!!

My cousin gave me a great idea this afternoon. As you can tell from my recent posts I am opening a Shaved Ice stand this summer. I have wanted to do this for several years and finally got the guts to do it. I always figured it would be a good summer job for me. I bought the trailer and all my supplies. Now I am trying to come up with IDEAS. I will have 24 flavors and a list of specialties.
Now back to my cousins idea, she suggested to have a blue one with a gummy fish on top and call it the "fishbowl" So far I have come up with a few of my own...
